Older Drivers

As an older person, being able to drive and maintain your independence is very important.

If you haven’t driven in a while, you can take a refresher course with Diverse Road Safety.

We have highly qualified and understanding instructors who can cover the areas you want.

Subjects can include:

  • building your confidence on the road
  • spatial awareness
  • route planning
  • hospitals and parking
  • motorways
  • roundabouts
  • dealing with other drivers
  • fuel conservation.

We will tailor the course to suit your needs.

If you have never driven before, it is still possible to learn. Diverse Road Safety can help you learn to drive for the first time, and even take you onto private land if you don’t yet have a provisional licence.

Before getting your first provisional licence, you should have a full eye examination by a registered optician.

We can also help you with any special arrangements that you may need to update your licence.

Contact us on 0151 228 8404 or info@diverseroadsafety.org.uk to discuss your specific needs, we will be able to find the ideal solution for you.

“I was very nervous at first, but you really put me at ease.” KP
